Born in Algeria in 1993, Fouzia Adjailia is a Doctor in Artificial Intelligence. In October 2021, She obtained her PhD at the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial intelligence at the Technical University of Kosice, Slovak Republic. Her primary research interests are computer vision, the intersection between Facial expression recognition from 2D and 3D images, and human-robot interaction.
Fouzia Adjailia has productively collaborated with training related to Artificial Intelligence, She had a visit to Japan to attend JST-CREST / IEEE-RAS SPRING SCHOOL, she presented a poster about Social and Artificial Intelligence for User-Friendly Robots. In Germany, she conferred research related to Artificial Intelligence and Urban Living in BMW SUMMER SCHOOL.
In addition to her academic work, She provides online courses related to Artificial Intelligence. She is an Algerian Ambassador for women in Artificial Intelligence, and Co-founder of the National Academy of Innovation and creativity.
Her passion for artificial intelligence and robotics, made her be the first Arab and Muslim lady who creates a multi-purpose humanoid robot. She became a Public speaker at many national and international level events.
Fouzia was nominated for WOMEN IN TECH GLOBAL AWARDS as the most disruptive woman in Artificial Intelligence in Lisbon, 2019
